HOW MUCH IS THE DURATION OF MY PRODUCT WARRANTY?
The warranty provides 2 years as a legal warranty. Dormir however extends the warranty only on mattresses, to other additional years, depending on the product. For more details on the warranty click here:
HOW DOES THE DELIVERY ON APPOINTMENT WORK?
The user has at his disposal the choice of delivery by free appointment for purchases on our online site. It will be enough to fix the delivery by appointment with the courier according to your needs.
HOW DOES DELIVERY WORK?
The user has the choice of free floor delivery available (not for bed systems and frames) for purchases on our online site. Simply set the delivery with the courier and indicate the plan to which the product must be delivered
IS DELIVERY FREE?
Delivery on the Dormir website is completely free for orders on the online site.
HOW DO I REQUEST THE INVOICE DURING AN ORDER?
During the order procedure, the field is present for entering data for electronic invoice. If these fields are not filled in the order, we do not guarantee the customer the possibility to receive the invoice retroactively.
RETIRED USED MATTRESS?
For all online purchases we do not collect the used mattress.
HOW DO I UNDERSTAND WHAT IS THE MEASURE OF MY MATTRESS?
The user must measure the frame on which the mattress lays to understand the actual size of the mattress he needs.
HOW DO I RECEIVE A CERTIFICATE OF MEDICAL DEVICE?

HOW CAN I WASH THE COVER OF MY MATTRESS?
Each mattress and each pillow has a label inside with washing and drying instructions. Never use aggressive washing detergents
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I TURN THE MATTRESS OVER?
It is crucial to turn over the mattress now and then as it ensures that wear and tear of the mattress is even. We recommend turning over the mattress once every 4/5 months.
WHICH WAY UP SHOULD THE MATTRESS LIE?
If the mattress has removable covers, the zip should face the bed base. If the mattress does not have removable covers, please see the white and black label on the top of the mattress to see which side should face upwards.
IS IT NECESSARY TO ROTATE THE MATTRESS?
It is recommendable to rotate the mattress, head upright once a month
WHAT IS MEANT BY DIFFERENTIATED AREAS?
Mattresses with differentiated areas offer more or less support in certain areas, depending on the body weight, and can also maintain the spine in a correct position, favouring a healthy and regenerative rest.
WHAT IS THE 3 D BAND?
The breathable 3D strip around all sides of the mattress allow a constant flow of air, thus favouring un excellent self-ventilation.The exchange of air between the inside and outside of the mattresses means that humidity is not retained.
The lack of accumulated humidity prevents
the formation of microorganisms that are a hazard for health.
CAN I USE A BED HEATER?
Bed heaters are not recommended on mattresses containing memory foam, as the heat tends to dry out this material and reduce its quality and properties over time.
WHAT IS COOLMAX®?
Coolmax® is a special technical fabric that favours the elimination of humidity. The fibres of which this fabric is made are square, almost hexagonal in shape, which allows humidity to be transported away from the skin to the external surface of the fabric. Once the humidity reaches the outer surfaces, the fabric dries more quickly compared to other fabrics, regulating body temperature as it cools via evaporation.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF MEMOREX?
Memorex is a memory foam made up of an extremely stretchy foam that interacts with body, adapting perfectly to its weight and movements, and immediately springing back into shape. The use of memorex allows great relief of rheumatic and arthritic pain thanks to the materials of which it is made of that favour the dispersion of humidity and correct air circulation. The benefit of this material also lies in the fact that it favours blood circulation, avoiding compression, and easily reaches all parts of the body allowing a feeling of wellbeing and a regenerative rest.
WHAT IS ELIOCELL?
Polyurethane foam has a cellular structure that traps a high amount of air. .The polyurethane foam used to make up our mattresses has considerable properties: it is breathable, resilient, supple and resistant. It can be produced with an open or closed cell structure. The more open, the larger and intercommunicating the cells, the more elastic the mattress will be and the greater the air circulation. Technological research has succeeded in creating polyurethane foams that are free of harmful substances for the environment and humans, and can guarantee high levels of comfort in total safety. It is a versatile material that is suitable for being processed into different shapes and contours that are designed to obtain cutting-edge mattresses in terms of ergonomic comfort.
WHAT IS THE OEKO TEX® CERTIFICATION?
The OEKO-TEX® certification assures that no substances or components are used during production that are harmful for humans and the environment. It also guarantees that the contact between the body and the fabrics used is completely non-toxic.
WHAT DOES DOUBLE COMFORT MEAN?
Some mattresses have what is known as double comfort, in other words the user can choose on which side to sleep. In this case, the mattress will have a cosier, softer side while the other side will provide more support.
The user can choose which side to use according to the level of comfort preferred.
THE MATTRESS IS SHIPPED UNDER VACUUM?
The mattress is normally shipped in a vacuum package. Only latex mattresses and spring mattresses are shipped open, because the material they are made the vacuum would ruin the mattress.
HOW LONG CAN I KEEP THE VACUUM MATTRESS?
It can be opened up to 5 months of the date of production. We recommend opening it shortly after delivery.
AFTER HOW LONG CAN I USE THE MATTRESS ONCE IT IS OPENED BY THE VACUUM?
The mattress takes 24 to 48 hours to take its original shape. In any case it is possible to sleep on it once opened, wait a few hours after placing it on the bed frame.
IF I DON'T FIND THE MEASURE I LOOK FOR WHAT DO I DO?

HOW OFTEN DO I NEED TO REPLACE MY MATTRESS?
Like other materials, mattresses are prone to wear and tear. Basically, to guarantee a certain level of comfort and support over time, we recommend replacing your mattress every 8/10 years.
